Coupons: In every basket give the recipient a discount coupon good towards a gift basket purchase

More Coupons: Go to your business clients and other consumer business in your community and see if you can’t have them cooperate on a coupon that you will put in all of your gift baskets, offering a discount. You expose them to your clientele and bring them business, your recipients love the good values and it costs you nothing!

It’s Almost Free-for-All: Approach local charities and offer them a “buy one get a second free” for a silent auction. Good value for them, good exposure for you and you’re seen to be twice as generous by those in attendance.

Nothing gets you in the door faster than a free gift: Once a week (bi-weekly, monthly), call a large local business and ask for the name of the person who chairs their “social committee”. Prepare a nice snack basket (not too expensive, include a coffee mug with your logo if you have one). Deliver the basket personally, introduce yourself, and announce that you entered their name in your weekly (bi-weekly, monthly) draw and they won! Trust us – you won’t be forgotten and it could lead to some regular business throughout the year and even a company Christmas order!
